CAPE ADVENTURE BIKE CHALLENGE 2022/23

The list includes both gravel and tar passes. All of them scenic! This challenge will be perfect for the perfectly balanced Adventure bike. If your bike is too dirt focused, you might struggle on the distance and/or tar bits. If your bike is really road focused, you might find the rougher sections more challenging. The Southern Cape District boasts some of South Africa’s best passes.

And even if you have ridden some of these before, what better way to motivate yourself to get out there than to challenge yourself? And believe me, a challenge it will be.

So what is in it for you? Adventure!!! And of course bragging rights.

SOME RULES

Only legally licensed bikes and riders can enter.
To enter this challenge, make use of the registration form below.
Entry to the event is free.
Riders will be responsible for their own logistics (accomodation, food, bikes, fuel & breakdowns).
Challenge has to be done in 4 consecutive days (or shorter).
An entrant will be issued with a numbered ride sticker that must be attached to the bike in a prominent place. The rider will need to take a photo of his bike, with the sticker showing in the photo, in front of a prominent and recognizable landmark or sign of each applicable pass. The sticker is proof that the pass was ridden in the allotted time frame.
The photo must be sent to the administrator via WhatsApp at 083 355 7485 (photos might be used on our website and social media).
Riders will be responsible for their own bikes, fuel & breakdowns.
Riders are expected to respect the rules of the road.
The main aim is to enjoy the ride – Good luck and ride safely!
