February and March has some of the best riding weather the Southern Cape District can offer. As it happens, the area also boasts some of South Africa’s best passes, both gravel and tar. So whether you ride a Streetbike or Adventure bike, it’s time to reacquaint yourself with the splendour of the Southern Cape passes!

The GRM 10 Passes Challenge is the second of six events for 2022, following the hugely successful 1000km Hardegat Ride.

The GRM 10 Passes Challenge will be divided in two challenges, Gravel and Tar. Each challenge has 10 passes (10 gravel / 10 tar) and the aim is for riders to ride all ten in order to qualify for the lucky draw prize draw. Riders may enter both challenges if they so wish and riders will have two months (Feb & March) in which to complete the challenge.

Individual challenges will be followed on social media and updated on this website so that all can keep track of competitors. Registration on the cabc.co.za website is essential to enter this challenge. Entries will open Sunday 30 January.

Riders who successfully complete the challenge stand to win some awesome prizes, with 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th prizes for both the Gravel and Tar Challenges.

Only legally licensed bikes and riders can enter.
Entries will be limited to 50 riders on each challenge (Gravel & Tar). Online-entries essential to secure your spot. Riders can enter at any time from 30 January 2022 and the challenge must be completed by 31 March 2022.

Riders can have their bikes pre inspected free of charge at GRM at any time before the ride.
